FACE THE CASE 2010: GI SERIES 1

This is a high yield, live, on-line case review aimed at senior Radiology residents.
PURPOSE :
After attending this course the residents will be able to use the principles learned to:
1. Efficiently describe the imaging findings in GI cases. 2. Narrow the differential diagnosis for GI findings. 3. Conduct themselves in any situation where they have to face cases.
DETAILS:
The case conference is a live on-line tutorial using GoToMeeting.com on-line meeting software which is accessible from any computer. The attendees log into the website and call into the conference call using the number that is provided after registration. After a brief introduction, twenty cases are shown over 15 minutes. The attendees make a note of the findings and the diagnoses. Then the attendees present their findings on the phone to the group. At an appropriate point during each presentation, the faculty takes over, critiques the presentation and makes the teaching points. Each group consisits of a maximum of ten attendees. Every attendee presents at least two cases. There is ample opportunity to ask questions and to interact with the faculty and peers.
