Join us for an evening of expression, exploration, and inspiration.
Local artist and adventurer Jeremy Collins' award winning mixed media film, The Wolf & The Medallion, is presented with a live music ensemble, led by local composer Andy Michael.
The story is told via a letter home to Collins' son, reflecting on a life of risk and reward, in the end inviting all of us to join him. Jeremy and a team of climbers, writers, and photographers from National Geographic journeyed to the northern reaches of China on the border of Mongolia in 2010 to an unexplored valley of rock climbing called Keketuohai.
With numerous animated sequences pulled directly from his sketchbooks, the story is told in Collins' first person, heart-on-his sleeve style. .
His message is simple- run from complacency
The Wolf & The Medallion is the second in a four part film series from the four directions called "More Than Mountains."
Collins' first film, Border Country will also be shown, bringing us into the story so far.
